Inkeri Kallio

10.00pm FLUID STUDIO
Henry McPherson (pianist), Inkeri Kallio (mezzo soprano) & Adam Hall (cellist) perform ‘Savage Parade’, specially devised for Fluid Festival

Inkeri Kallio is a Finnish mezzo-soprano living in Glasgow, currently studying for their Master's qualification in vocal performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

They were recently awarded the Governors’ Recital Price for Chamber Music.

Inkeri is fascinated by the intersection of classical music performance tradition and queer identity, and has worked with several other Glasgow-based artists exploring these themes. They enjoy testing the limits of their artistic practice and finding new ways to connect their identity as a non-binary queer person with that of a classical singer.
